Our Mission
Renaissance Centre's mission is to offer counselling and programs which enhance the well-being of the people and of our community. We strive to establish networks and to develop partnerships necessary to ensure the diversity of our services.
Our Services
We offer bilingual counselling and programs which enhance the well-being of the people of our community. We strive to establish networks and to develop partnerships necessary to ensure the diversity and availability of our services.
A non-profit organization promoting wellness by offering counselling and support to individuals, couples and groups.
We offer both long term counselling and psychotherapy in French and English for children, teens, adults and couples. Counselling sessions take place in a safe and respectful environment.
We work with our clients in to explore ways of coping, meeting life challenges and goals, resolving and overcoming issues, crisis and stress points. Our counsellors are trained, skilled and experienced therapists who receive expert supervision and who are certified by their respective associations. Renaissance Centre develops new programs according to community needs.

Charlotte Hébert

Daniel Beaudette M.A.Ps. MBA
Founder of Renaissance Centre with a long and disciplined background in the field of therapy, creatively integrates his own life of wisdom that of Satir, Master Choa Kok Sui and other great teachers. He focuses his talents, his spirits on energy work, body, mind and spirit connection. Core message: "Forgive, Love and Heal" for our evolving personal and global consciousness.
Charlotte holds a Masters in Psychology (M.P.s) from the University of Ottawa. She is also a Trained Teacher in Mindful Self-Compassion, training she received from Kristin Neff, Christopher Germer and Steve Hickman. Charlotte worked in a psychiatry department for 4 years, after which time she began working in private practice and has been doing so for over 30 years. She was a member of the « Ordre des psychologues du Québec » for over 30 years, and is now a registered member of PAM (Psychological Association of Manitoba). Charlotte was also a consultant, facilitator and mediator for many public and private organizations across Canada. She approaches psychotherapy with an ontological, humanistic and relational framework, inviting the client to be an active participant in his or her personal development and well-being.
Daniel is currently the Executive Director at the Centre Renaissance Centre Inc. He has worked as a psychologist for over 30 years, 6 years as a school psychologist and 25 years with Correctional Service Canada. He has recently completed a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis on Health Administration (2011). He firmly believe in the benefits of an integrated health system designed to enhance individual well-being and the collective well-being of our community.

Léo Pantel MSW
Léo graduated with a Masters in Social Work from the University of Manitoba, and is currently a member of the “Manitoba College of Social Workers”. He has been working at Renaissance Center since 2006, specializing in individual counselling (children or adults), couple, and family counselling. Léo previously worked for the Department of Child and Family Services, Province of Manitoba, for many years, providing child protection services, family reconciliation, and adoptions services.

Roger Dubois M.Ps. C. Psych
Graduated with a Masters in Psychology (M.Ps.) from University of Ottawa. Registered Psychologist (C.Psych) with Psychological Association of Manitoba (PAM). After a career as Coordinator of School Services, ha has been a therapist with Renaissance Centre since 1997. Specialises in individual and family counselling, depression, anxiety, P.T.S.D., adjustment problems, support in decision making, etc.

Lois Goertzen B.Ed. M.Ed.
Lois has worked as an early years educator for 35 years. She has been a counsellor at Renaissance for 4 years. She is currently completing her supervision hours to become a registered play therapist. As well Lois is a trained facilitator in both “Positive Discipline in Everyday Parenting” and “Circle of Security”; two programs that focus on attachment and relationship based parenting. Her expertise also focuses on expressive arts modalities when working with both children and adults. Some of these tools include mindfulness, journaling, creating, playing games and role- playing. Lois is very excited about being a counsellor at Renaissance Counselling Centre, working with her clients and is always eager to meet new clients.

Manon Talbot, M.Ps, P.A.
Bernice Parent B.A.
Renée is a counsellor and art therapist, she obtained a master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies from Concordia University. She works in a client-centered approach, through an attachment and trauma-based lens. Renée uses creative expression in addition to talk therapy to gather information about her clients, to support clients in gaining new perspectives on an issue and to empower clients in their growth and introspection.
Manon holds a master's degree in psychology from Laval University in Quebec (M.Ps) and an additional three-year training in psychotherapy (a brief solution-focused approach). She has been a member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec since 1998 and of the PAM (Psychological Association of Manitoba). She worked as a psychologist specializing in neuropsychology at a rehabilitation center for physical disabilities in Quebec for 20 years. She holds a specialization in the evaluation and treatment of concussion. She has been practicing psychotherapy in a private office since 2005, where she had the privilege of accompanying adults towards a better sense of well- being. She integrates several approaches relative to the request for consultation (cognitive, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), brief focused on solutions and motivational).
Bernice is a certified Yoga and Mindfulness instructor. Her Mindfulness education is with the program founded by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D of the Centre for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
She worked for 30 years in the corporate world developing leaders and in human resources. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of St.Boniface with a major in Psychology, and she has a Certificate in Adult Education.
After Bernice retired from the corporate world she founded her own company La Vie Mindful. She offers Yoga and Mindfulness sessions to corporations, in schools and in the health field.
